Position:	VW Service Technician
Location:	Pfaff Newmarket
Reports To:	Service Manager
Compensation:	Flat Rate
Disclaimer:	This position is responsible for performing general vehicle repair and maintenance functions in order to ensure vehicles run efficiently and emission levels remain within acceptable ranges.
Qualifications:	• Automotive service technician trade certification • Thorough knowledge of technical repairs and procedures • Knowledge of Provincial Safety Standards concerning the performance and area of position responsibility • Ability to work cohesively with employees and managers as part of a team • Excellent interpersonal skills • Must be able to communicate (verbal and written) in English fluently • Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure with simultaneous deadlines • Detail oriented and excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills • Must possess a thorough knowledge of technical repairs and procedures • Must have experience with VW vehicles • Mechanical aptitude and quality orientated • Valid Ontario driver’s license and clean driving abstract
